put your hand on the doorknob.
turn it.
walk through it.
you are strong.
you can handle this.

Fears

so. I am really scared right now.
I checked my lovely heart, and it is resting at a manic 150 bpm, theoretically speaking.
I can’t get out of my head being in the office, in that room, with the door closed, window closed, blinds down, being alone, face-to-face with everything I fear.
I am so easily manipulated. So easily.
and I have to fess up, get this all of my chest, everything for the past year and a half that have been eating me alive. Sucking my joy away, draining me. I have learned so much. How to stop doing things in my own strength, to lean on HIM.
I am a sheep. I am scared. I am timid. I am ignorant.
But I have a shepherd, and things are going to be okay, he is going to take care of me…like he never ceases to do.
And I am scared, but I will be just fine.
After I force myself up the last rugged bit of mountain, I will be at the top, able to see my success; wind on my face, sun to my back. I will be able to breathe, exhale, calm, have comfort. I will be healthy. I will be new.
Renewed.

Random Life Blog.

So I’ll stand, with arms high and heart abandoned.
In awe, of the One who gave it all.
I’ll stand, my soul, Lord, for You surrendered.
All I am is Yours.
Apart from You I am nothing.
I love you. I love you. I love you.
Help me out of this.

bullies

Bullies
By
Bill Cottringer

Bullies come in all shapes and sizes—
Countries, religions, girls and men,
All doing the same thing though;
Shouting and spreading their hurt,
Beating others down,
To pull themselves up;
Not seeing their wrongs,
Or admitting insecurity;
Continuing the cycle of hurt,
But never with good outcomes;
Leaving the rest of us,
To figure things out—
How to stop the bullying?
There’s only a few ways:
Take a stand,
Understand the wrongs,
Know the rights,
Live your love,
Keep hoping,
Be assertive,
Abundantly,
With compassion,
With Commitment.

This poem, is sadly all the truth.
bullies should have a worse punishment then what they originaly get.
Even when we do not think that we are being bullied, by a girlfriend or boyfriend, you are.
And it is hard to deal with that.
In Demi's Blog she explains how when she was in middle school she was terribly bullied herself too, now a popstar you would not think that. Not everyone is perfect everyone goes through difficulties in their life, you just have to learn that not everyone is going to like you.

innocence

Whose tattered paws are these, I don’t know
He weeps and groans with great great whoah
He mews his sad and heart-touching soal
His trust for people is unfortunately low
From an abusive home this cat did emerge
And his time to live is on the verge
I don’t want his life to end in vain
The mind of some humans is submerged
Why did they put him through so much pain
In my opinion, this is beyond insane
Dumping him out into the city so cold
With nobody there that had it to hold
I saw him there, dying on the road
I gave him the love the hostile being owed
He now feels the love he needs
he now feels the love.

this poem, by http://literacyworkshop.org/wpmu/stsuji/2009/05/11/a-heartbreaking-poem-about-an-abused-cat/ really inspired me.
I was looking around at blogs and I saw that someone was writing about abused animals also, and I thought that was really cool.
wanna know more on her blog?

The point of this blog

My blog is all about poetry.
 I chose poetry because it's my favorite thing to do in the free time. Poetry, to me, means a lot and I respect it. It isn't something you can just make up, cause even doing that it will still be coming from your heart, and made into your own words.Even famous people like George Washington used poetry in his life. Even things just wrote down, like a diary can be turned into poetry. Life happening events, thoughts, favorite past times, anything could be put into poetry. Like this poem by William Shakespeare called seven ages of man;
-All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players,
They have their exits and entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts.
That is one of my many favorite poems.
I have started writing poetry when I was 14, turning a diary page into words that rhyme, then later on progressing at it.
 My mother always told me as a child:
-Don't settle for less
you are my little princess
you only deserve the best.
I guess that is what kind of inspired me to write poems, she was always good at them.
